Through norwegian.com, you can seamlessly combine Norwegian flights with Widerøe-operated services in a single booking — making it easier to reach regional destinations.
If your journey starts with Norwegian, our baggage rules apply. If you start your trip with another airline, that airline’s baggage rules will apply. Please refer to your booking confirmation to see the specific baggage allowances for your trip.
You’ll find general guidelines for baggage on partner-operated flights below. These may vary and are subject to change.
You should always check in with the airline operating the first flight of your journey and follow that airline’s check-in procedures.
If your trip starts with a Norwegian flight, check in must be completed directly with us, either online or at the airport.
If your trip starts with a partner flight, see their check-in deadlines.
If your flight is delayed or cancelled, the airline responsible for the disruption is also responsible for assisting you. Depending on the situation, this may include:
- Rebooking to another flight
- Hotel accommodation if you need to wait until the next day or longer.
- Reimbursement of necessary expenses, such as food and drink, within reasonable limits, if the airline is unable to provide these on site
To receive assistance, it is important you contact the correct airline.
Delayed baggage
If your final flight was with Norwegian and your baggage is delayed; you must report delayed baggage with our airport representatives on your arrival destination.
If you arrived with an airline other than Norwegian, you must contact that airline directly.
Damaged baggage
If your final flight was with Norwegian and your baggage is damaged; you must present your damaged baggage to our airport representatives on your arrival destination.
If you arrived with an airline other than Norwegian, you must contact that airline directly.
Widerøe is part of the Norwegian Group and our closest partner, making it easy to combine regional and international travel.
Widerøe flies to a wide range of destinations across Scandinavia and Europe.
You can book combined journeys with both Widerøe and Norwegian on wideroe.no or norwegian.com – whichever suits you best.
